PressTrak
PressTrak didn't come from a software company. It came from a heat press, a pile of blank shirts, and one too many lost counts.
PressTrak was born out of a simple frustration. Running a small home-based heat press business — pressing custom shirts, hoodies, and other garments — should be straightforward. You buy blanks, order transfers, press shirts, and sell them. The actual pressing part? That's the easy part.
The hard part was keeping track of everything else. How many size mediums are left in white? Which transfer designs are running low? How many finished shirts from last week's run are ready to go? These are questions that come up constantly, and for a long time the answer was a spreadsheet.
The next step was looking at existing inventory software. There's no shortage of options — but most of them are built for large retail operations or complex manufacturing environments. They come with steep price tags, bloated feature sets, and learning curves that have nothing to do with running a press out of your garage or spare room. Paying a premium monthly fee for software that does ten times more than you need isn't a solution. It's just a different kind of frustration.
The heat press business has a specific set of inventory needs that general-purpose tools don't address well. You're not just tracking widgets — you're tracking blank garments by style, color, and size, heat transfers by design and type, and finished pressed goods that are ready to sell. Those three categories interact with each other in ways that a generic inventory app doesn't understand.
PressTrak was built from the ground up around that reality. Every feature — the blank tracking, the transfer inventory, the press logging, the low stock alerts — was designed with a real heat press operation in mind, not adapted from something built for a different industry.
The goal was simple: build the tool we wished existed. Something purpose-built, easy to use on a phone while standing at the press, and priced so that even a small home-based operation could afford it.
PressTrak is built for small and mid-sized heat press operations — home-based businesses, side hustles that are turning into something more serious, and anyone who presses custom garments and wants to stay organized without overcomplicating things.
If you're pressing shirts for local customers, selling on Etsy or at markets, doing custom orders for events and teams, or running a small shop — PressTrak was made with your operation in mind. You don't need enterprise software. You need something that works, stays out of your way, and keeps your inventory accurate.
PressTrak is actively developed and improving. We're a small operation — which means we move fast, we listen to users, and we build features that actually matter to people running heat press businesses. If you have feedback, run into an issue, or have a feature idea, we genuinely want to hear from you.
The vision hasn't changed from day one: make inventory management so simple and accurate that it stops being a problem, and lets you focus on the part of the business you actually enjoy — pressing great products for your customers.
